Call for Workshop Proposals

Greetings!

The 14th Annual Midwest Women’s Herbal Conference will be held May 23, 24 & 25, 2025 at Camp Helen Brachman in Almond, WI. Robin Wall Kimmerer,  Gail Faith Edwards, and Cornelia Cho, MD  will be joining us as keynote speakers, with pre-conference intensives, as well as workshops throughout the main event. There will be a wide range of herbal/earth-centered workshops and plant walks offered by regional, national and international teachers. Additionally, there will be an herbal marketplace, evening entertainment, song circles, and plenty of opportunities for networking and conversation.

We are now accepting proposals from women interested in teaching a wide range of herbal and earth-centered topics. We will choose workshops that our committee feels best fit the spirit of the weekend. If you would like to present workshops at the 2025 Midwest Women's Herbal Conference, please complete the application available below.

This year we are asking that everyone please consider submitting at least two workshops (as seen on the proposal form below). A stipend of $200 per workshop will be paid to each presenter. The cost of the conference registration, the meals and the lodging will be free to the presenters, as well as the option to be able to secure a vending space at a reduced rate. Keep in mind: We do not typically accept workshops that have more than one presenter. We will not offer additional reimbursement for travel or materials. No materials will be copied on site, please bring with you what you need.

The Workshop Proposal application is now open! Apply before October 1, 2024. You will hear back from us by October 15, 2024.
