is a homesteader, forager, artist, researcher, public speaker, and mother from Mason, Wisconsin. She has a wide range of interests and skills from dance to permaculture to fiber dyeing techniques, but her true passions are mycology and cultural history. When not out teaching, Sonia can be found on her homestead Amanita Acres, tending her flocks and gardens, leading forays, or engaging in personal and community growth work during immersive retreats at Amanita Acres.
