After heart-centered consideration, the Midwest Women’s Herbal Coordinating Team wishes to announce that the 9th Annual Midwest Women’s Herbal Conference is being postponed until 2021. While we are deeply sad, we know that we will gather again.

Pre-Retreat Workshop: Navigating Psychedelic Space: Tools & Techniques to Support Mushroom Journeys

3-hour Intensive: Navigating Psychedelic Space: Tools & Techniques to Support Mushroom Journeys - In this 3-hour intensive we will explore the space of mushroom journeys from a sober perspective through instruction, discussion, meditation, role play, and guided music. Instructor Katherine MacLean will begin the workshop by providing an overview and framework for understanding the roles of facilitator and practitioner. We will then directly explore the mushroom space and practice our skills through guided meditation, music and paired practice.

Pre-Retreat Workshop: How to Make Your Co-incidence Matter: Become a Citizen Scientist

When you encounter a fungus, what do you have to do to make your encounter a valuable record and become a citizen scientist? In this workshop we will learn the steps to photograph, take notes, collect, dry and preserve samples, and learn where to send them. We will learn the theory, go to the field, and then go through the necessary steps to make your encounter last through time and contribute to the knowledge of fungi.
