When you encounter a fungus, what do you have to do to make your encounter a valuable record and become a citizen scientist? In this workshop we will learn the steps to photograph, take notes, collect, dry and preserve samples, and learn where to send them. We will learn the theory, go to the field, and then go through the necessary steps to make your encounter last through time and contribute to the knowledge of fungi.
