Since our 3rd conference in June 2014, the Midwest Women’s Herbal Conference has been held at Camp Helen Brachman. It is located in Almond, a small community in central Wisconsin. The location offers 200 acres for plant walks, a quiet lake for swimming, meals by Dani Lind of Rooted Spoon Catering, female camp directors who support the mission of the conference, and rustic accommodations.
Land Acknowledgement

We respectfully acknowledge that the Midwest Women's Herbal Conference takes place on the traditional territory of the Menominee and Ho-Chunk Nations. As many of us are visitors to the land, we have an important responsibility to acknowledge the grounds on which we are privileged to gather in the pursuit of nourishment, herbal wisdom, community and wise woman ways. We offer our gratitude to the First Nations for their care for, and teachings about, our earth and our relations. May we honor those teachings.
