Shari Ralish is a Pennsylvania native who graduated from Penn State University in architectural engineering. After college, she moved to the Chicago area and spent twenty years advancing in the construction management industry with the hopes of one day starting her own business.

After the birth of her son and the recession, her life hit a turning point and she opened Peaceful Parlour in the spring of 2010.  In 2012 she began attending the Midwest Herbal Conference in Almond Wisconsin which fed into her love of plants and learning about their medicinal properties.  She has since been a continual sponsor of this conference and created a line of organic herbal tea blends which are hand blended in the shop. Shari is currently undertaking an herbal apprentice with Linda Conroy of Moonwise Herbs in Wisconsin to deepen and broaden her knowledge of plants and her relationship with them.

Peaceful Parlour’s mission is to offer eco-friendly and fair trade products that are easy and affordable to incorporate into your daily life.  Shari is also an intuitive card reader and offers tarot readings at the shop both in person and now online.

Once upon a time, a little girl went to the woods to make friends and learn from all the beings

held within the forest. That little girl grew up to be Helen Hazelmare, actively learning via

gracious guides and elders regarding birth, death, ritual, emergency medicine, animal medicine,

plant medicine, astrology, and angelic and ancestral transmission. Helen is currently living an

abundant life in Wisconsin, weathering storms and being evermore grateful for harvests.

Women's Liberation Radio News (WLRN) was founded by Thistle Pettersen in early 2016 after having her proposal for a monthly feminist news program rejected at Madison's community radio station, WORT, 89.9 FM. She reached out to women across the internet and to members of WORT to get started on shaping and creating a monthly collectively created podcast by women to break the sound barrier women are blocked by under the status quo rule of men. The ideas behind the collective are simple: mainstream media is dominated by male interests that seek to shut down feminist analysis, news and discussions. For this reason, women need to take the means of production into our own hands and help each other in cooperation to "be the media" in order to truly report on the landscapes and experiences of women worldwide, outside of the bounds of patriarchy. We offer a variety of DIY bumper stickers, buttons, t-shirts and zines at our table in the marketplace.
