There is much folk wisdom and lore surrounding their use and preparation. Some of the lore and science of these herbs including research from my laboratory will be presented. I will address questions such as: Is fresh or dry mugwort better? Does 100 proof or 190 proof alcohol make a better tincture? Can any garden rose be used?
