Audio Recording from a 2018 MWHC Live Event with Lisa Kroutil.

Antibacterial and Antioxidant Herbs Mugwort and rose petals have many traditional medicinal uses including as antimicrobials and antioxidants. There is much folk wisdom and lore surrounding their use and preparation. Some of the lore and science of these herbs including research from my laboratory will be presented. I will address questions such as: Is fresh or dry mugwort better? Does 100 proof or 190 proof alcohol make a better tincture? Can any garden rose be used?
