Katherine MacLean, PhD
is a research scientist, teacher and meditator. In her academic research, she studied how psychedelics and mindfulness meditation can promote beneficial, long-lasting changes in personality, well-being and brain function. Following her sister's untimely death from cancer, Katherine left academia and co-founded the Psychedelic Education & Continuing Care Program in New Yorks, which focuses on increasing awareness and reducing risks of psychedelic use. She has traveled throughout the United States and internationally to facilitate integration groups for psychedelics users and lead training and educational workshops for clinicians and the public. Gina Rivers Contla
is an herbalist and an educator. Through her work with the notorious mushroom enthusiast, Paul Stamets, Gina has traveled internationally training practitioners and the public on the health benefits of medicinal mushrooms. She has served as a community herbalist throughout the South, and currently resides in the Southeastern Appalachian Mountains. When not traveling and teaching, she focuses on cultivating medicinal herbs and mushrooms through sustainable organic farming practices and foraging for wild mushrooms.
