Katherine MacLean, PhD
Katherine is a research scientist, teacher, and meditator. In her academic research, she studied how psychedelics and mindfulness meditation can promote beneficial, long-lasting changes in personality, well-being, and brain function. Following her sister's untimely death from cancer, she left academia and co-founded the Psychedelic Education & Continuing Care Program in New York, which focuses on increasing awareness and reducing risks of psychedelic use.
Cornelia Cho, MD
Cornelia Cho, M.D. is a practicing pediatrician, mushroom club president, Re-evaluation co-counseling leader, and life-long explorer of paths to healing. She explores ancient traditions, microbiome integrity, DIY cutting-edge mushroom methodologies, and sharing how cultural & historical messages & traumas can both inform our struggles and provide a conduit for healing and growth.
Anne Pringle, PhD
Anne Pringle was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and spent her childhood traveling through Southeast Asia and West Africa. After being dragged along on one-too-many birding expeditions, she abandoned the birds for fungi. She was an undergraduate at the University of Chicago, and then completed a Ph.D. in Botany and Genetics at Duke University. After completing a Miller Institute for Basic Research in Science Fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley, she joined the faculty at Harvard University. She next moved to the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she is now Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor in the Departments of Botany and Bacteriology. Pringle has given over 100 invited talks to academic and popular audiences in countries including China, Colombia, France, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand, and the United States. In 2019, Pringle was elected President of the Mycological Society of America.
Ruth Barrett is an acknowledged foremother of the goddess spirituality movement, an ordained Dianic high priestess, seasoned ritualist, teacher of magical and ritual arts. She is author of Women’s Rites, Women’s Mysteries: Intuitive Ritual Creation (expanded 3rd edition) and has contributed to several anthologies on goddess spirituality. Ruth is also a pioneering musician/priestess, mountain dulcimer artist and singer, whose recordings are among the pioneering musical works in the Goddess Spirituality Movement. Her most recent 2020 recording is Once And Future Amazons.
